Events Room Rental

Our beautiful events room is the perfect place to host your upcoming event. We can accommodate everything from birthday parties to holiday parties. The room can accommodate up to 80 people in a cocktail- hors d’oeuvres setting and 68 seated.

Guest Speaker Special (2hrs or less)

If your looking to have a guest speaker come and address your class or business the Palace if the right place for you. Depending on the size of your group our events room or theatre can be used.

Theatre rental (Lobby & Theatre ONLY)

This setting is the ideal venue to combine entertainment and beverage. In addition to providing a unique, stylish and pleasant atmosphere, the Palace Theatre can seat 350 guests on the main level in permanent seating plus an additional 70 seats set up, and 70 in the balcony. Palace on James is the perfect site for your next event. Some events that are perfect for this space include dance recitals, comedy shows and small concerts.

Whole Building

Are you a local promoter looking to bring an artist or act to the Syracuse area? Or are you looking to host a large ceremony? Either way Palace on James has the space to accommodate your event. you will have the use of the theatre and lobby for your main event and our events room can be used as a VIP area or a green room.

Can You Serve Alcohol at my event?

Yes we can! Our staff would love to bartend at your next event. We offer beer, wine and basic mixed drinks. If you are looking for something special that we don’t have in stock let us know and we can order it. But we can NOT allow guests to bring in there own alcohol.

Does the Palace provide catering?

No, the Palace no longer provides inhouse catering. We do have a preferred catering company that we highly recommend our guests use but you are welcome to use someone else. With that being said our kitchen can NOT be used to prepare or cook food by anyone that is not our preferred catering company.

Am I allowed to decorate?

Absolutely! We want your event to look exactly the way you envisioned it. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and set them up. The Palace does not have décor to use and you would be responsible for setting up and removing them at the end of your event. So please make sure you book enough time to accommodate setting up and removing your décor.

Do I have to pay extra for the sound and lighting Tech?

With your booking we include 1 hour of pre production and the day of the event in the pricing. If you need additional pre production time or rehearsal time with our tech there will be an additional hourly fee.

Do events at the Palace require security?

Depending on the event the Palace can decide that in order to book your event needs security. If this is the case you would need to hire RMW Events or Gold Star security company as the Palace does not provide one. Once the Security company is hired we will work with them to determine how many security guards will be needed for the event. The fee for security is not included in the rental cost and must be arranged directly with the security company.

Where can my guests park when attending my event?

Parking for the Palace is located behind the building. You can access this lot via Stafford Ave. Parking is also permitted across the street behind the United Health Care building. Although some people may choose to park on Stafford Ave instead of behind The United Health Care build we ask that you do not. We do our best to respect our residents in Eastwood and it can be hard for the residents of Stafford Ave to access their homes when people use both sides of the street for parking during events at our venue.
